Try disabling it through the command line:
Open Start, type: CMD
Right click CMD
Click Run equally administrator
Type in at the prompt OR Copy and Paste these ane at a fourth dimension : (Hit enter after each)
Blazon the following command to unlock your BitLocker bulldoze with 48-digit recovery primal:
manage-bde -unlock D: -RecoveryPassword YOUR-BITLOCKER-RECOVERY-KEY-Hither
If yous can remember your BitLocker user password, type the following control. Afterwards pressing Enter, you'll be prompted to enter the user password.
manage-bde -unlock D: -Password
Side by side plough off BitLocker Encryption:
manage-bde -off D:
Go out then restart.

Delight condone the unhelpful gobbledygook from the Direct "Advisor." If you don't accept your Bitlocker key or password y'all won't be able to access the encrypted drive. Information technology's possible that Bitlocker credentials were stored in your Microsoft account. If not, you're out of luck. Never encrypt anything without having a validated unencrypted backup.

Greetings.
yesterday morning my laptop attacked past .boston ransomware. that was converting my files into .boston extension. at the moment I disconnect my laptop from cyberspace. and as presently as possible I reset my laptop to recovery point. afterwards recovering the window I cannot login my Hotmail account into my laptop. when windows started I open "This PC" icon to check my affected files. when I open this pc bitlocker asked me to encrypt my bulldoze D. and I click on lock now. afterward that bitlocker did not bear witness whatever choice to save recovery fundamental or password. I didn't attach any USB drive, and my account likewise is not login in laptop. later on that I restart my device and so it showed my drive d is encrypted past bitlocker. when I tried to open the drive a popup message appeared. it needs 48 digit recovery key. merely I didn't have any key. I search from net. and in 1 article they say to reset window. I reset my window again. only the problem is still there. I cannot find any recovery cardinal any where. and I cannot access my data from drive D. Please aid me to unlock this device. I can provide all details about the data in that drive. I am using this laptop from almost 6 calendar month. my accounts logged in. I can provide all accounts detail. delight help me to admission my information. I already lost my enough data in virus attack. the remaining data I locked by bitlocker. I am very upset...…..

I didn't attach whatever USB drive, and my account as well is not login in laptop. after that I restart my device and then it showed my drive d is encrypted by bitlocker. when I tried to open up the drive a popup bulletin appeared. it needs 48 digit recovery primal. but I didn't take any key. I search from internet. and in 1 article they say to reset window. I reset my window again. merely the trouble is still there. I cannot observe any recovery key whatever where. and I cannot access my information from drive D. Please aid me to unlock this device. I can provide all details about the data in that bulldoze. The bottom of above article mentions, "If you are unable to locate a required BitLocker recovery key and are unable to revert and configuration change that might have cause information technology to be required, you'll demand to reset your device using one of the Windows 10 recovery options. Resetting your device will remove all of your files."
However, you can give BitLocker Repair tool a try to recover information from the encrypted drive before Reset:
